Ms. Debra Wiedmaier

Debra Wiedmaier's career as an FEI rider and trainer has its roots in Germany.  For two decades Debra lived in Europe and trained with the foremost names in the dressage world, including Conrad Schoemacher and Patrick LeRolland. Additionally,  she has worked extensively with Harry Boldt, Kyra Kyrklund, George Theoderescu and Klaus Balkenhol on both sides of the Atlantic.

 

Notable dressage partners who made up a winning team with Debra are: "Jasmin de Bray A“ “Wannex”, “Usufruct”, ”Syntax”, “Garnet”, "Wisol", "Kartouche", "Donnerstern", “Gazelle du Peron” and “Sandro’s Boy”.

 

Debra has successfully shown in Europe and the US, including the Florida circuit.  She is a recipient of the USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals as well as the 1995 Can/Am Gold Medal and the 1992 Can/Am Silver Medal at Devon.  In 1994, Debra received the Silver Medal at the US Olympic Festival in St. Louis, Missouri. Debra also holds the German Jr. Bronze and Silver Reitabzeichen Medals.

 

From 1986-1996, Debra was the private trainer for Mrs. Rodman Rockefeller at Winterburn Stable, where she purchased and trained several young horses through to Grand Prix. Both Syntax and

"Usufruct" were long listed for the USET Olympic Team.

 

Today Debra successfully competes at the FEI level on the East Coast as she continue to educate horse and rider through to their potential at her local base @ Winley Farm in Millbrook, NY.  There, she provides a full service training board
